We were commissioned to design a sleek, protective cover for the Apple Magic Mouse, aimed at enhancing grip, minimizing surface wear, and preserving the device’s premium finish. The challenge was to create a form-fitting silicone shell that doesn’t interfere with gesture controls while adding ergonomic comfort and aesthetic appeal. The result is a precision-engineered skin that reflects Apple’s design ethos while extending product life and user comfort.

We reverse-engineered the Magic Mouse surface geometry using 3D scanning and CAD modelling to ensure a perfect fit. The cover design was prototyped in platinum-cured silicone and validated through user comfort testing, grip trials, and compatibility checks with Apple gestures and chargers.
Moulds were developed for vacuum casting and low-volume silicone injection, keeping both cost-efficiency and material performance in mind.
The final product is now part of the client’s premium accessory line and distributed across major tech retail platforms. The Mouse Cover project demonstrates our ability to deliver user-focused, material-sensitive consumer electronics accessories that combine precision, protection, and style.
